Biography

Alignment has long been a top priority for business and IT leaders but until now it has remained frustratingly out of reach.

This blog was created to discuss issues related to aligning IT and the business and how my company facilitates alignment through its Stroma® enterprise software.

Other general IT and technology issues will be discussed, in particular the relationships between business services, dataflows and the value of IT

I’m a specialist in business critical data systems, and a technology expert in Networking, Infrastructure, Systems, Hardware, and Software Languages.

Performed strategic IT and Control System consultancy for a range of corporate clients including United Distillers, British Steel, Royal Ordinance, British Petroleum and the UK Ministry of Defence.

During 2002 was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Analysts and Programmers.

Co-founded Cassini Software Limited during 2001 to apply to other markets the rigorous engineering approach to the management of business and IT resources used in Oil & Gas.
